Empty fun fair

The series is composed of 8 images taken at the fair before its opening. It deals with the projections of different groups onto this staple in Luxembourgish cultural calendar. Children may look forward to fun rides and sweet candy, teenagers may find the exciting location of their first kiss. Older generations dance to apres-ski music. Before the start, it is none of that. The colorful decorations stand eerily hollow in the night waiting for people’s expectations to be filled with life.
